Omaha’s Central Public Library Project
Free Community Share Out
Imagine the possibilities as partners reveal new designs for Omaha’s central public library. A key step in the potential central public library’s schematic design and engagement phase has been to gain input from the Omaha community, including collecting more than 1,600 responses to a community survey, connecting with leaders representing nearly 100 diverse community organizations, and hosting a public open house at Omaha Public Library’s A.V. Sorensen Branch. This valuable input has been used to create a shared vision and inspire building designs.
Join us for a free Community Share Out event on Monday, June 6, at The Venue at Seventy Five North’s Highlander Accelerator campus. Partners will
present on project process and progress, including how community and staff input has informed library spaces. Don’t miss the premiere of new
exterior and interior building renderings, a walk-through of floorplans, and a discussion of the next steps.
