WE ARE HIRING AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Nebraska Black Women United is a connector of women across the state of Nebraska providing education, inspiration, and access through our network of over 800 members.

The Executive Director will lead the organization in achieving its mission, enhancing its visibility, and expanding impact and reach. This position requires a visionary leader with a strong background and success in non-profit management, fundraising, and member engagement/member retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership to NBWU, guiding the organization in alignment with its mission and values.

• Oversee the daily operations of the organization, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective program delivery.

• Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with the Board of Directors to advance the organization’s goals.

• Lead and inspire a diverse team of staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

• Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program offerings and reach.
