Member Spotlight- Tennille Hutcherson
Tennille Hutcherson is a transformation advocate who is intentional and motivated by helping others navigate moments of change, develop a renowned perspective, and recognize the innovative opportunities that exist.
She has spent nearly 25 years in the financial services industry, where she's held various roles in Contact Centers, Marketing, Consumer Lending, and most recently, Compliance. She is also the owner of Uplifting Spaces LLC, which offers services in home and office organizing, virtual space organizing, and professional styling and staging.
Many would describe Tennille as an authentic and trustworthy person who is determined in all that she does.
Some words of encouragement that she would like to leave to the women of NBWU during this holiday season;
"We are strong. We are resilient. We are the light and beacon of hope. We are bold and beautiful. We are powerful beyond our imagination. We are "becoming" with each new day. We are our sister's keeper. We are better together. The facts are comprehensible. When black women unite, we change our communities. We strengthen our families. We establish healthy relationships. We empower each other. We shift narratives and write our own stories. We create opportunities for others to shine. We become the CEO's of our lives. We create the tables to seat others and say their names in rooms full of opportunities. We are called to elevate one another. We can accomplish immensely more together than we can apart. We are iron sharpening iron. We become sharper in the presence of each other."
Wow, What a wonderful message!
Tennille also believes that intentional growth demands change and that change is good. This mindset, coupled with all of her other outstanding attributes, has put her in the position to serve as a member of the board of directors for The Collective for Hope. Tennille was recently appointed as the Empower Program Co-Chair with an objective of taking the program to a National Level.
In addition to all the fantastic things we have already highlighted, she is also a mother and mentor who holds great pride in being her son's "momager" for all his sporting events.
Tennille is a woman on the move with plans of venturing into photography to help highlight the spaces that she has transformed and uplifted through her work as a professional organizer. Her photography will capture just how beautiful the gift of being organized can be.
To people who are considering joining NBWU, Tennille says,
"If you desire to be amongst women who emulate and embody excellence through their talents and different backgrounds, then join the NBWU! It will give you a new and profound meaning of sisterhood with support."
We are so thankful to have members like Tennille as a part of our network and wish success in all of her future endeavors!
