Job Description: The Greater Omaha Chamber is hiring on behalf of Cass County, Regional Partner.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To facilitate the creation of jobs and economic development opportunities for Cass County, Nebraska through the Cass County NE Economic Development Council (CCNEDC).

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for the oversight of CCNEDC’s economic development program which includes: attraction, retention, site development, rural development and entrepreneurial development.
2. Develop and implement a fiscally responsible budget ensuring that funds are safeguarded and administered appropriately.
3. Work with the partners of CCNEDC to promote the continued expansion and growth of existing businesses in Cass County by implementing a proactive outreach program where one-on-one assistance will be provided. Assistance provided includes: real estate options, access to local and state incentives, financing options, connections to utility partners for infrastructure improvements, connections to city and county officials for projects that require zoning and planning changes, connections to workforce programs and access to demographic information.
